In my district, Dr. Bennett’s contributions were both inspiring and impactful. She conducted a comprehensive research brief on block scheduling, providing evidence-based insights that informed critical decisions about instructional design. Additionally, she led a leadership training session for my executive cabinet that deeply resonated with my team. Through her guidance, we were challenged to think critically about our practices, examine the intersections of race and leadership, and refine our strategies for driving systemic change. Dr. Bennett’s ability to blend theory with actionable steps is unparalleled, and her approach left my team inspired and equipped with tools to strengthen our commitment to equity and excellence.
Dr. William Hayes
CEO
As a result of the summer training we saw a shift in the mindsets and planning focus of our leadership team. The team was intentional about not only setting outcomes goals related to attendance but were able to identify root causes of the issue and goals related to addressing those root causes. Additionally the team was able to develop and implement common practices and systems for communication across departments.
Connie Sanchez
Superintendent/Principall
Under Dr. Bennett's guidance, we were able to examine how we supported marginalized students through the lens of intersectionality. Her approach allowed us to take a step back and critically assess any implicit biases we may have carried, enabling us to create a more inclusive and equitable environment for all learners.
